For possible employers
Dear Mr./Ms.,
I am a young student at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, Computer Sceince and Automation Department, English Branch, in the 4th year, and I am interested in a job. I am seeking a position with a software company located inCluj Napoca that has established an agreement with the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
My studies as a Computer Science Engineer allowed me to develop an understanding of the software development process, and the extra-curricular studies at the Cisco Networking Academy provided me a broader view on the networking communication. I am eager to enrich my understanding of the computer world, and I am seeking to make a contribution to its development. I see myself in the next 10 years as system architect. I prefer to develop solutions that are both correct and efficient, rather than writing much code in a day of work.
Furthermore, I appreciate the theoretical aspects involved in the application software development, rather than their implementation. As a student I had a merit scholarship for all the 3 years. My projects at the software centered disciplines involved the development of an application to manage the drugs in an pharmacy and a Mini-Distributed File System, both in Java. I like the object oriented programming more than the declarative programming (Prolog), and I would like to work at innovative projects. I do not consider myself as an experienced software developer, but the degrees obtained at disciplines such as Object Oriented Programming, Programming techniques and Software engineering were the highest possible. Regarding the environment in
which I would like to work, I prefer it to be quite, not crowded, with peers eager to help you are in trouble. I dislike open-style offices, and I consider deadlines and ambiguous or incomplete specifications as a challenge. I am an affiliate at IEEE Computer Society, student member at the ACM, and member in the SIGSAC and SIGMICRO, the reason being that of enriching my knowledge in the fields of security and optimizations. As a student I had mostly a theoretical experience, and I am willing to learn new things in order to enhance my skills. I am motivated and enthusiastic by new challenges and tasks, and I try to take different approaches for achieving success in all the projects assigned to me.
I would like to gain experience, and I am eager to contribute with my creativity and hard work towards the success of your company.
Respectfully yous,
Dan Alexandru Marian
